1. Don't Teach Your Kids This Stuff, Please? by Scott McLeod:
My position on the arguments by Mr. Scott McLeod is that this world in the Twenty first Century is changing around us on a daily base, with new technology and high speed Internet services providers throughout nations and nation, connecting people and students from little old town of Mobile, Alabama to one of the largest countries in the world: England, where the Queen and King and their families are living at and to see one of the Largest Castle in the world.
People are using the services to communicated to other about living in Alabama and trying to arranged a visit with them, technology is changing everyday and more and more people in general is gaining access to it.
Students and the parents is using technology to communicated to each other, by using cell phones, video chats, face-to-face camera's and less and less through pen, pencils and notebook paper.
The new students of are this date and time as Mr. McLeod is describing how Internet Services have taking over the ways children communicated to their parents, teacher's and other people is leaving impression that unfavorable comments and that their parents should not be letting have so much access to Internet or other devices.
Several comments from students in EDM310 class of 2011 were:
1. Stephanie Taylor commented that Mr. Scott McLeod comments get to the point of not letting children have that much access to Internet services and she also commented that technology allow students to become creative and connects to other location around the world.
2. Courtney Holifield commented that Technology has to be incorporated into classroom setting, because it is appropriated information on the Internet services for all students to research topics and it is mostly used by teachers' that is having their students to that information and communicated back to them for educational material.
3. LaVenia Curtis posting were very interesting to me, she stated that: "Technology is replacing pen, paper, textbooks and other material used in writing a letter or taking notes for class" and she also stated that: "If we monitor and supervised our children activities on the Internet services providers, it will help us as parent's to understands just who they are communicating to on a daily base."
2. The iSchool Initiative, Tim Allen and Travis Allen's ZeitgeistYoungMind 's Entry:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src=<a href="http://www.youtube.com/embed/06YOePeUx4o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This information is interesting for students in the future, with the question: Do Technology belongs in our classroom?
I am thinking Yes It Does, because teachers' can video tape assignments for any students that have to miss class for a doctor or dentist appointment, they can view it through video chat or on a Podcast, this will make sure they that got that days' assignment.
According to both Tim and Travis video with todays' technology it is: I-Touch Apps:
1. Emails
2.Notes Application
3. Global Map
4. Formulae
These Four things are used in classroom setting for students to research history material, send this information to their teachers, takes notes and posted them along with the information about the location of projects through global maps and formulae into a presentation for everyone to see and commented on.
With these information more and more teachers' are using the I- Homework apps for their students to check and do their assignments for the week and it will save on time and the parents of these students can also check it and monitor and see that they have homework is done.
3. Jennifer Chamber's and Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir:
src=<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/D7o7BrlbaDs&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shock wave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></embed></object>
My reactions to this video and Jennifer blogs about the video: It is with today's high tech technology not only students and people in general can conducted a full choir and have completed hymning throughout the whole project and have all of the students in different locations around the world.
Within this video and posting it takes someone to trust all of the student's will stay focus and parallel to singing the song in by way of the Internet and video cameras, this performing were on key and I think if all students will take part in a choir like this one, then they will be more focus on the assignments.
4. Teaching in the 21st Century, by Kevin Roberts:
What does it mean to teach in the 21st century?
Students' here in EDM310 located at University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama have being blogging, making Podcast, using Smart boards, designing profiles, taking notes and planning events ahead of time through projects like that help to communicated to others students and potential employers around the world.
Teachers can research information about different homework assignments, student's can used it to video chats to their friends and parents can log in and monitor just who their children are talking or testing out their video chats.
Therefore, YES, technology in the Twenty First century is very important for everyone within their daily lives, it help them to become more organized with their time and improved their communication skills.
They can blog, asked questions and get a responded in real-time, twitted and posted video to You --tube's and other video sites and used I-Pods or their cell phones as a way of locating other students around the world.
In today's 21st century teachers and the student parents can clarify information about the students like if they are going to be out for a appointment, homework assignments that were to be turn in and also helps the students to located resources for the projects.
By showing children and people in general, that using the Internet services and their technology devices correctly it well pay off in the end with solving problems, having validate information, researching resources and getting clear understanding on just thew other person is communicating to them.
5. Reading Rockets: <a href=" http://www.readingrockets.org>Reading Rocket</a>
While reading and checking some of the video's on the posting, this article had some very important information for students to learned and get a understanding that if the challenge themselves and used their imagination and interview skills that they can be successful.
This website is interesting about students setting up interviews with teachers and other people that were interesting to them, for example: Mr. Walter Dean Myers:<a href="http://bcove.me/vo8cpsah">
Where he talking about how books has changed hiis life a over having a speech problems in his early years of growing up and his loves of reading and writing short stories and poems have being very benefituful to him.
He also talks about havinfg many challenging that he hads to face head on and were very success in dealing with them and all of these interviews were about people having positives attitubes about readign books and enjoying them.
When I become a Kindergraden Teacher within the next year, I am going to reccommend this website to all of my studnets to reading and listened to each video and posted a comment about just what to understand.

C4T Project #3
C4T Second Project:
C4T First Project:
1. The Learning Brain, by Instructor Sheamus Burns.
The First article that caught my attentions were the one about Two Teacher in Canada that wanted to show their students flash cards about how they are ally with the LGBTQ organization.
This organization is the Lesbian, Gays, Bisexual, Transgender and Queers, there were one major problem to me that these teachers did that I think were very much wrong:They Did Not Get the Parents Permission to show these type of cards.
The students were only Fifth Graders and they went home and told their parents about the cards and in term the parents reported to the principal and the school board.
The principal and school board did not take any actions or recommending these teachers about their behavior, I think this were very wrong and they should have being recommendation with the proper course of actions.
Mr Burns also stated that the teachers behavior was unacceptable and the cards should have being tossed out or place in a thrash can and burned.
Mr. Sheamus Burns: is trained in painting, drawing, and printmaking at Brown University, where I studied under artists Richard Fish-man, Wendy Edwards, Walter Feldman, and Jane Masters.
His interests ranges from traditional naturalism, with emphasis on nature and the human form to pure abstraction of color and form.

The second project is designed by Mr. Steve Anderson:
BLOGGING ABOUT THE WEB 2.0 CONNECTED CLASSROOM:
A BLEND OF TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION.

Some of them were topics or transcripts were about:1. How do teachers know when students are engaging in learning?, 2. How necessary is homework for students to learn?, and 3. What are specific things we can do to involve parents in the education of their children.
These topics will get anyone attenation to go and check out this comments from the students and by using Evernotes, more and more students can take note about their our trained of throughts and save it to their computers, laptops, IPOD's, cell phones or any other technology devices that they used on a daily base.

Even it meaning using the Spell Check system, which is program on your technology devices, going back to old fashion ways and pick up a Dictionary to look up the meaning of words, using the on-line Dictionary which is located on Google, Yahoo or any other Internet Server, they will help to structure your sentences and organization your very our train of thoughts, before placing into a Blog, Twitter or email.
Many people are making several mistakes in writing their papers, posting their assignments, sending out emails or even writing information on paper. According to this video some of them were: Not using correct grammar, using too many periods within a sentence or even not giving enough positive feedback to their peers.
After reading my C4C classmate: Ashley Fallo Blog Assignment #2; I posting several nice comments about her writing style on her blog and commented about how well organized her writing were.

Technology in Special Education: and How the iPad Works with Academics for Autism Video’s
Technology in Special Education classrooms is becoming one of the most essential parts for students with learning abilities or students with Autism, it replaces the time students going to classrooms and just sit all day and do nothing at all or watching what their teachers are doing or helping others to learned.
With students that has Autism or any kind of special disabilities, the new forms of computers, laptops, notebooks, smart-board’s or forms of communicating to other has changed in today society by more corporations like Apple and Microsoft programmers are designing different fictions that help them to better their education and understanding of thinking outside of their comfortable zones.
It help the teachers to become more patience with these type of students, have them to value their time and energy into developing a more interactive person and it also form trust being them.
With the new styles of I Pads, by produced and placed on the markets by Apple Corporation: http://www.apple.com/ipad/ios/
Some of the features of this designed are: It has a graphic program on it for the students to see information being posted in large prints, it is also programmed with soft keys touch pads that allow the students or any of the others students to be able to communicated with their teachers and it has voice recognition for the students to listen to the very own voices as they are completing their homework assignments or hear their teachers tell them the correct answers to questions being given on exams.
Technology in Special Education or any classroom settings will also help the students to advance to the next level of their lives and learned basic math, language arts and places different books for the students to read and understand the story.
Gary Hayes (Social Media Count): Video:
What do they mean for your professional career as a teacher? What kind of changes has Social Media placed on Education?
Social Media video is describing how words and meaning of information is being produced and changed every Five Second’s within a Ten minute span time and it is having more students or people in general have access to world wide networks, by adding information they wants to see placed on different posting.
The students and others are communicating in different location of the world, posting in Real-Time, Blogging information so that others can see or read about their lives and it forcing teachers to think about is this a profession to be go into, because they will have to proof read all this information and replaced it with their own posting.
Media only last up to Twenty minutes before it will be changed by someone else information and changes on a daily base, it has already changed by the time I post this blog.
Michael Wesch: A Vision of Students Today Video:
This video is showing how advance technology is taking over from the tradition style of teaching ion class room setting, where students have to used pen and paper and take notes, to them wanting to be other places.
It is demonstrating just how today’s Twenty Century students are feeling like setting they do want to use technology in their class room, from not using on-line internet services, taking exams, reviewing study guides and speaking directly to their instructors.
With modern day technology more students are finding it very easily to take class on-line, pay bills, send email and not real letter or notes to other classmates, this video will help others to understand that we are lost over Two Millions in students population on annual base and more than One million in Teaching positions to the Internet Services.
My own commitments about all of these video’s are they are very helpful to student’s that are multi-task with working and going to college, special needed students with different kind of disabilities, students that preferred to be seating in a classroom and learning from their professors and advance technology has come along way from the day’s of using a pencil and paper methid of communicating.

Video #1 Did You Know:Dr, John Strange
This video has some very interesting facts about other students and people that lives in other countries.
Facts one is that students in India and China are learning to speak English at a faster rate than Americans students.
The future of these children will have the ability to read, write and understand English and their own languages, also they will become faster user's of the Internet and be more advance in Technology.
This video made a statement that students in India has a higher IQ rate then the count part of mixed Americans students taking the same courses in colleges as they are.
I am just being to text on my phone, send emails, twitters and checking my face-book for instant message, when this video clearly states that more people in this country and other nations are sending Two or more hours just sending Instant messages from their cell-phones, while they are at school, work and within their home environment.
Video #2: Mr. Winkle Wakes: Matthew Needleman:
Mr Winkle is a person within this video that wakes up and see there are a lot of changes have accord around him after many years of sleeping.
This reminds me about the story of Sleeping Beauty, by Charles Perrault, http://www.children story.info/children stories/sleeping beauty.html
This story were many different screens in which The Prince had cut through hedges and weeds to get to his future wife The Princess, after a wicked fairy put a spell on her and the entire castle.
She went to sleep and many things had change around her and this castle from people getting older, pots on the stove with food in them becoming spoiled and rotten and she being kissed by him to be awake after many years of sleeping.
This story is for all people and children to understand that there will be changes that will happen within their lifetime, just like it happen within Mr. Winkles time after he woke up from sleeping for near One Hundred and One years.
There will be new computers designs, new X-ray's machines that will show just how someone have a broken bone or there will even be a cure for cancer, from the way people will education their children and their grandchildren, by using up-to-date technology to help them study for exams and take notes.
Just like the video Mr. Winkle wakes up to find so many different changes happening around: New and Taller buildings, a hospital as high as the Twin Towers, people driving automobiles on the wrong side of the streets, street signs with a speed limited and one of the funny and interest thing he find is several people talking to each other through the computer with their face showing.
Video #3 Sir Ken Robinson: The Importance of Creativity
Within this video Sir Robinson is speaking of people about becoming more creative with their own ideals and designs and communicating with them about how education will change things within their children lives.
He is also lecturing them on being prepared for the future and their children and grandchildren lives by making sure that their ideals and goals are being met on a daily base.
This information is important to me, because of the many changes I am going through within my own personal life.
From returning back to college after many years of working in the work force, finding employment at my age very difficult to find in the career I chose, comparing myself to others that has graduated with me over Thirty years ago on how their are very successful in the lives and I am just getting back into focus.
Therefore, if I stay focus on completing my education to become a teacher and being able to used my brain power to gain the knowledge of my professors, then I will also become very successful within the next phrase of my life.
Video #4 A Vision for 21th Century
This video is about students learning from memorizes what their teacher's are saying and some of it will help them in the future and some it will not.
By memorizing information it could be miss quoted by others, in today's Twenty-First Century students are well advance in technology, video chatting, designing movies, finding information on the internet and they starts at a very early age like in Kindergraten.
I know some children learned by memorizing just what the teachers has said, I think that if students will takes notes and research information on their own, by using the internet, school libararies and other form of resources, they will find out that most of the information is true and creditable from their teachers.
By using computers and other technologies not just students can learned to understand information that is gived to them in today's Twenty Century of advanced texting, emailing and blogging so others will understand their writing.
Video # 5: Vickie Davis: Harness Your Students's Digital Smarts
This video, this video has some great information about being prepared for the future and helping students to understand that time is changing and it is getting faster and faster everyday with new and better information in communicating to others in other nations and countries.
There is a teacher in the State of Georgia, whom is helping her students understand and learned that to communicated to others is not just using pencil and paper or passing notes to others, it is more advanced then that with learning new technology terms and researching the meaning of each and every words.
She is showing them that more and more people are turning toward advanced technologies as a form of saying hello or talking in other languages to multi-cultures people.
To me learning different ways of communicating to others from texting on cell-phone, using Skye to talk to others, sending pictures in 3-D formates, creating a video in real time, learning other languages being spoken by other people in countries like Mexico, China, Japan, India and all over the world, more and more students will be preapred for their future.
These five video had me to think about the future of my family and how advance the next generations of children will be in communicating with others.
